Official Organ, Oklahoma Jurisdiction A. H. T. A
No. 19.
Cushing, Okla., April 6, 1910.
Vol. 1
Strayed or Stolen/Strayed or Stolen.
This Week's Notices.
Chandler, Okla. March 29,1910,
Bro. Green, Editor Searchlight:
Will you please give me a let-
ter space in the Searchlight to
ask the members of Subordinate
Lodge No. 747 to please meet
with us at the court house at our
next regular meeting April 8,
1910, and begin to talk about our
state meeting. It has been sug-
gested to me that it would be a
good t-cheme to hold a county
meeting, say in July or August
to make preparations for the!
state meeting in Oct. Chandler
is going to spread herself but we
would like to have the cooperation
of all the sub orders of Lincoln
county to help us and suggest to
us the program. We need your
help and we know that all you
want is a hint and you will all be
here. I judge by the interest
that some of our neighboring
# lodges seern to take in the matter
' by the way they talk to me, and
I answer for sub lodge No. 747
that we appreciate very much the
interest shown by our brothers
offering us their assistance to
make it as pleasant as possible
for our brothers of the state
when they come. Any Bro. hav-
ing any suggestion to offer in
reference to a county meeting,
will write our genial Sec. J. Bart
Foster, who will be glad to hear
from any brother. 1 want to
thank the brethren over the state
who have been*so solicitously in-
quiring for me through the
Searchlight, will say in reply
that when ihe school land bale
was over I was a little disfigured
but still in the ring. I am now
resting in my old bunk and some-
what gotten over the soreness
contracted by my floor practice
for the accommodation of those
that might want beds during the
great sale, and not a sole came
for beds. I do not want to be
disappointed this coming October
and I expect you to come. I
would by pleased to see all that
I met at McAlester and as many
more as can come. I especially
vite the goat man from the
range, hills or mountains,. and
that old Bro. Marlow, I. kind a
took to him. And to our.worthy
Sec'ry. Bro. Listen, I beg your
pardon Chas. for not writing to
you, but I want to thank you for
