Mrs. Dr. Hill has been suffering
with asthma this spring, the doctor
says she is better than sue was in the
East. This is tbe reason he moved her

eight mllea over as rough a road as

placers, the richest iu the archipelago,
their yield to the native miners being

quarter section of land, iu that county
contain, unmistakable algna of rich
deposits of zinc, lead aud copper, out-
side of the mineral deposits I do not
tbiuk much of Aarkanaaa, excepting
tbe waier, those beautiful mountain
atreanis that guab out of seemingly
solid ledges of granite are astlueand
pure a. the world produces.
Tbe crop of northern Arkansas are
generally good, though the raising of
grain I. certainly done under difficulty
the limestone rocks are so numerous
as to cover ne.rly tbe entire surface of
tbe ground. We then turned our eyes
homeward and after two daya of rough
aud tough riding we rounded up at
Kureka Hprlngs where we found those
who had uot made that Inlaud trip
having a most enjoyable time. That
same eveuing at 0:30 we took the
train for home where we landed lu
due time safely, having made the
trip without * jar to mar our pleasure.
