have selected Democrats and a'l
they ask is, that the candidate, if

and carry out their schemes.
The people now have an oppor-

the ring rule of the past. For
years they have been tyranized
and oppressed by party bosses,
federal appointees and machine
politicians. Now will they con

their votes to keep the ring in
power, or will they assert their
independence and defeat Cal

who are interested in the welfare
of Cushing and who had expres
sed their intention to vote for
Wright because they had bef n
made to believe that he would
use his influence and vote in the
constitutional convention, if
elected, to secure a county seat
for Cushing. But since Mr
they are not careful
they get them.
