Hereinbefore imposed upon each of
the several items of such costs, nor

ready for occupancy, your county
shall pay us one-tenth of the amount
of said aggregate costs, together

crued interest on said aggregate
costs, not to exceed, however, six
per cunt, per annum, from the day
on which we borrow or advance, as
the case may be, the money required
in the construction and insurance
of said courthouse building, includ-
ing all items of cost to us hereinbe-
fore enumerated, as the first annual
rental for the use and occupancy of
said courthouse building by your
countv for the year beginning 011

Twelfth. For the juiymciil of the
annual rental to which we are to

liciciit annual tax, not exceeding,

cle «S, chapter 32, Session Laws of
Oklahoma, of 1897, and to pay

Thirteenth. Said courthouse
building shall remain our property
until said rents are fully paid, and,
also, until the expiration of said
term of ten years from and after
the day the same is ready to be
occupied by your county, but when
said term of ten years shall have
expired and said ten annual rentals
shall have been paid by your coun-
ty, said courthouse building shall
become the property of your coun-
ty, free, clear and discharged of all
liens and encumbrances, and we
shall have 110 further right, title,

said courthouse building or said
public square.
Fourteenth. No lien of any

Seventh. Said courthouse build-
ing shall be by 11s insured against
fire for the full term of ten years
from and after the same is ready
for occupancy by your county, in
some one or more of the best fire
insurance companies in the United
States, and the terms of our insur-
ance contract shall be such that in
the event of the destruction of said
courthouse building by fire, all in-
surance money shall be deposited
in some national bank to be desig-
nated by you, by the insurance
company or companies, and subject
to our check or order only w h .11
used in paying for the rebuilding
of said courthouse building, the
intent being that said insurance
money shall be used only in re-
building said courthouse.

Gentlemen:—We submit to you the
following proposition, to-wit:
First, we will construct, in a
skillful and workmanlike manner,
in the center of the public square,
in the town of Mangum, in your
county a court house building, ap-
proximately fire-proof, to be rented
by your county, in accordance with

eral specifications heretofore, at
your session «f February 8, 1902,
exhibited to you at the county seat
of your county by H. M. White,
agent of the James Riley-Gordon
Co. architect of Dallas Texas and in
accordance with the working draw-
ings, jpecifications and details for
said court house building, includ-
ing, among other things, heating,
conduits for lighting, conduits for
plumbing, plumbing, conduits for
electric wiring, place for clock, and
such other deUils as may be neces-
sary or proper for use in the con-
struction of said building, which

expired, each of said payments to
be the annual rental to which we
are entitled; provided, however, in
the event ot tax charges against us

ing, such charges each year shall
be added to said annual rentals, as

insured, the cost of such insurance
shall be repaid to us as a part of the

Ninth. In the event of the de-
struction of said courthouse build-
ing by fire, before or after it is
completed, while the same remains
our property under the terms of
your county, as above required with
respect to annual rentals; the intent
being that the aggregate of the ten
annual rentals to be paid by your
county shall be sufficient, but 110
more than sufficient, to cover the
aggregate costs sustained by us in
constructing and insuring said
courthouse building and in paying
taxes 011 account ot the same, sub-
ject, however, to the limitations
of said building, and you shall not
be compelled to accept said build-
ing nor to occupy the same, nor to
pay rents therefor, unless the same
oe constructed in accordance with
this proposition and be free of all
liens and encumbrances whatso-
ever.
Fifteenth. Within a reasonable
time after you have accepted this
preposition, we will make, execute
ana deliver to the proper officer or
officers of your county, for the ben-
efit of your county, an undertaking
in proper form, with good and suf-
ficient sureties, to be approved by
you, conditioned that we will faith-
fully and fully perform all the
obligations and duties which may
devolve upon us under the terms
and provisions of this proposition.
