Mrs. Jeff Davis, who recently
fell and broke her hip bone, is
improving some and has been
able to sit up in a chair for a half
hour at a time. Her four daugh-
ters have visited her during her
illness as follows: Mrs. Minnie
Wren and two daughters, Misses
Ivy and Aline, of Munday, Tex.;
Mrs. Mary Hooper and Mr. Edd
Hooper and their daughter, Miss
Bertie, of Ochiltree, Tex.; Mrs.
Vera Lyon and daughter, Miss
Fannie, of Granite; Mrs. Laura
N. Oliver and her married daugh-
ter, Mrs. Fannie Herbert and
Mr. Willie Herbert, of Tampa,
Fla., are here. They seem to
iike Oklahoma and may locate
Here. Mrs. Sarah McGuire, Mrs
Davis's sister, and Miss Stella
McGuire and Mr. J. H. McGuire,
of Vera, Tex., visited her re-
cently. All have returned to
their homes in Texas.

ter, Ruth, are visiting Mrs. Da-
vis's parents in Doxey, Okla.
Mrs. Ella Mote and family, of
Cameron, New Mex., are visiting
her daughter, Mrs. Martin Davis
on Route 4.
Mrs. Vera Lyon and daughter
are visiting her sister, Mrs. Rosy
Brannan, of Sanco, Tex.
