was taken home that evening. Her
condition is very much improved.

in Mangum this week visiting friends Wednesday attending the speaking
and attending the fair. of Eugene V. Debs.
B. F. VanDyke, of Granite, attended
the fair here today.
Phil Devers and family, of Willow,
were fair visitors today.
Claud Moss, of Granite, is here at-
tending the fair this week.
W. J. Houck. of the Jester com-
munity, was a Mangum visitor Wed-
nesday.
G. W. Holley attended the fair here
Wednesday, along with many more
citizens from the Jester community.
G. W. Wangonseller, of Granite, vis-
ited the fair here Wednesday.
T. J. Adiar, of Granite, was here
this week attending the fair, and vis-
iting friends.
Only one marriage license has been
issued since last week, that being to
Allen R. York, 18, to Estella McAdoo,
18, both of Willow.
Jess Mitchell, of Vinson, is attend-
ing the fair here this week.
Frank Stratton. of Granite, was
Mangum visitor Wednesday.
Miss Anna "Riley, of Fort Worth, ar-
rived Wednesday night to accept a
position wlt^ the Curreathers dry
goods tore.
Jim Brown and family of the Jester
community visited relatives here on
Wednesday and Thursday and attend-
ed the fair.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Francis, of Vin-
son, were visitors at the W. E. Bow-
man home Saturday and Sunday.
