At this writing those of the faTmers
who have wheat are anxious for fair
weather.
Everything on the farms seems to
be dqing nicely and its best; even the
weeds are seeding in some places.
Blake is expecting to have a picnic
on the 11th of Ju'iy. Now as t'nis is
candidate year, we hope to have a live-
ly time Come out Mr. Editor and be

NOTICE OF DEMAND FOR TAX
DEED
To the unknown owner or owners of
the N. Fifty feet of the South One
Hundred feet of Block Sixteen, in
Powers Second Addition to the town
of Mangum (now city of Mangum)
Greer county, Oklaihoma, as each of
you are hereby notified that the
above described tract of land was on
the 6th day of November, 1911, after
complete and legal notice had been
given as provided by law, sold by
the county treasurer pf Greer coun-
ty, for the taxes legally levied there-
on for the year 1910, which said taxes
were a t paid, and tbe said, tract of
land was bid tn by the undersigned
W. D. Dawson, the highest, best and
last bidder for the sum of $5 3<>, the
accumulated taxes and penalties and
that unless redemption is made by
you or your authorised agent or at-
torney on or before the 5th day of
August. 1914, the said W. D. Dawson,
as tbe legal owner and bolder of the
certificate of purchase, issued against
such tract of land will demand of the
county treasurer of Greer county, Ok-
lahoma. that deed issue to him *3 pro-
vided by law.
