which has received (lie unqualified in
dorxfinent and approval,of Governor
Robert L. Williams, the regular ses-
sion of the fifth legislature of Okla
bona passed Into history on the
seventy-eighth day of the session
GoNernor Williams spoke at the final
session, warmly commending the
members for their work.
The enactment of the workmen's
compensation law; abolition of un
necessary offices, rural credits and
home ownership; providing for state
regulation of Insurance companies;
regulation of the cotton ginning and
cotton oil mill business by the cor
poratlon commission: oil and gas con-
servation laws; providing for clearing
the congested supreme court docket;
tbo good roads bill; amendments to
the general revenue laws and the sub-
mission of many important amend
ments to the constitution are some of
the accomplishments of the legisla
ture, which the governor referred to
specifically in his address.
