Mr. H. M. Foster, vice-presi-
dent of Oklahoma State Bank
returned this morning from
Kansas City and Springfield
where he went on business and
to visit his mothfer.
The Ladies Aid of the First
Methodist Church served dinner
to the Officials last evening in
the basement of the church. Al-
most all the officials were in at
tendsnce. and the special busi
ness relating to the new church
was considerably advanced. To-
night, Wednesday! at 7:30 p. m.
The special subject at prayer-
meeting will be "Our part in the
Centenary movement."

Mrs. Alice Pound received
a letter from her son this week
in which he stated he had been
sick.
Mr. J. J. Banks of Atchison,
Kansas was the guest of his
aunt, Mrs. Alice Pound yes
terday.

business visitor in the city yester-
day and a guest at the Thompson
Hotel
Mrs. O. C. Orick and daughter
of Agra, are in Cushing visiting
with friends this week.
