To stimulate our Contestants and to put life into the cam-
paign at once, we will offer a series of special rewards during
the life of the contest; these are additional to the grand awards.
FIRST SPECIAL: One Dozen Cabinet Size Photographs, maae
* by Armantrout, the Photographer, and valued at $6.00,
given as a reward to the contestant having the largest
number of votes to her credit by 10a.m., Friday, Aug. 1st
SfCOND SPECIAL*. One Premo Eastman Camera, value $10.00,
given to the young lady registering the largest number
of votes to her credit between Aug. 1st and Sept. 8th.
Other Specials will be of ered later.
All contestants failing to receive one of our premiums will
receive 10 per cent of all monies collected by her dura*
the contest. No cash commission will be allowed when
contestant receives an award.
Rules and Regulations
1—ANNOUNCEMENT—This pre-
mium and co-operative contest
will be conducted on strictly hon-
est busiuess principle", with per-
fect justice and fairness to all con-
cerned.
2—THE AWARDS in this con-
test will be as follows:

2nd—Combined Scholarship.
3rd—A Top Bugffv.
4th—New West Steel Ranee.
5th—Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet.
6th—South Bend Gold Watch.
7th—42-piece Dinner Set.
3—CANDIDATES—Adv lady over
12 years of age, married or single,
residing in Logan County is
eligible to a place in the contest.
The lady who shall have the largest
number of votes in the ballot box
at the close of the contest, will be
awarded the Kimball Piano. Oth-
er candidates will receive the
awards according to their votes in
ballot box.
4 CLASSES OF VOTES- The
votes are issued in coupons of the
following denominations:
New Subscriptions, 500 votes for
|1 00; Renewal Subscription, 500
Votes for $1.00; 5-year-subscription
5,000 votes for $7 50.

ed in order according to standing
and the amount of their votes pub-
lished regularly after first count is
made.
Free 20 vote coupons will be pub-
lished in this paper during first 30

and ask for the votes; they are free. Then give the voting
slip to the young lady who solicited your trade, cr bring them
to this office and vote them for the contestant. You are not
doing the square thing by your own or your neighbor's daugh-
ter if you do not get the merchant's coupons to which you are
entitled and present them to her, or vote them. Help the girls!
