The first few days of last week
were so nice that we thought perhaps
the high winds were about over, but
on Saturday and Sunday we were re-
minded that the wind and dirt could
still blow. Sunday the temperature
dropped considerably and we had
some snow flurries mixed with the
dirt.

We think the wind storm Sunday
was the worst we've ever known here.
We hope no serious damages have
resulted. However, quite a little
feed was blown away, window panes
blown out, shingles blown off and
$1000.00 several things loose in the yards and
barn lots, such as rick weights,
chicken coops, boxes, tubs, etc., were
flying across the prairies.
We fear now that the young
wheat is "sure 'nough" gone this
time.
