Some Pretty Windows About Town
There are se\eral pretty display
windows in town since the holiday
season has opened. Among them is
the uitistii display in the Dugan jew-
elry store, which is worth noticing.
Then the drug linn of W'anser &■
Hamilton, which always his tome-
thing nice to show you. The Lath-
am Dry (ioods company has a couple
of windows always fixed up in nice
display and has a couple of good
looking spaces tuis week. J. 1). Gar-
rison. Claik Hros. and the Model are
all putting on considerable airs this
week, particularly the latter place
whic h always has something nice in
window trimming. The Croley-Crow
Drug Co. lias a c ouple of nicely deco-
rated windows which are well lighted
with colored globes suitable for such
work. Chas. Summers & Sons just
across the street have two large, well
I fixed up windows which cannot fail
j to attract attention. The langston
, Hardware Co. and Jackson Brothers
1 each have nice windows which are
J worth looking at and which you will
notice when you pa*s along. The
i holiday season always brings out a
nice lot of well decorated windows.
Why isn't the idea a good one to fol-
j low the year around. Nothing indi-
! cates a live institution any plainer
A good window display sells lots of
; things nothing else will sell.
it's Fame Reached to Sunday
In a certain Bible class in one of

sion arose as to who tirst built the
walls of Jerusalem. After muc h d< - :
late it Was finally decided to re-
fer the matter to that famous old j
Biblical an out, Hilly Sunday, who is j
now so busy trying to convert the i
l ad folks of Wichita that he can't !
hardly look where he spits. In re-
ply to the communication sent him
i illy wrote that it was his impression
that an old codger named Da\id did
the bossing of the job when they
lai 1 the nrst stones, but the thing
which would interest him more
would be the gratifying infor-
mation that the folks down this way
were getting busy along more lul-

lias i eeh knocking our town to Bil-
ly? Someone is doing us dirt and
we should organize and lay for the
rascal.
