of Ardmore, has now located in
Kiowa and has rented the Mrs.
Littell property in east Kiowa.
He expects his family to arrive
in a few days. Mr. Johnson has
bought the interest of W. P.
Donnell in the firm of W. P.
Donnell & Co., and henceforth
the new firm will be Vernon &
Johnson. Mr. Johnson is an en-
prising business man and the
Sentinel extends him and his
family a hearty welcome.
The cashier-elect of the Mer-
chants and Planters bank of
Kiowa, Mr. C. W. Crum, of
Ferris Texas, comes to the peo-
ple of Kiowa highly recom-
mended by three of the strongest
financial institutions of Texas,
to-wit: American Nat'l bank of
Dallas Tex., the Exchange Nat'l
bank and City Nat'l bank of
Dallas, besides his home bank of
Ferris Texas. Mr. Crum is an
experienced banker and the
Merchants and Planters bank is
fortunate in securing his ser-

Council of the Incorporated Town
of Kiowa, Indian Territory, that
it shall be the duty of the marshal
of the incorporated town of K iowa
whenever directed by the Coun-
cil of said incorporated Town of
Kiowa to notify in writing every
male inhabitant of said town be-
tween the ages of twenty-one
years and forty-five years, not,
otherwise exempt, to work upon
the streets or alleys of said town.
The notice shall state the time
and place, when and where said
work shall begin, and shall also'
state the number of days said
work is expected to continue.
Article 2. Be it further enact-
ed that every male inhabitant of
said incorporated town not ex-
empt shall, after being summoned
according to law, perform such
