the road west of town was a state
highway. The road was graded three
miles west of town, or just up to
where the really bad road begins, and
there stops. The only explanation
for this condition existing is that the
commissioner of the second district
spent all his allowance for the benefit
of the Guymon people and left his
constituents of the north flats to get
