is--
It is a duty you owe to your pre-
cinct, countv and state, to attend the
primary election on the fourth of
August and cast your ballot for the
man you want t<> be a candidate for
the offices to be til let", at the coining
fall election. Your party needs you
too as they want to make as good a
showing as they can. It will do you
good to go and see how things are
JToing and roinglewith your neighbors,
fill you do it?
Farmers in these parts are not very-
busy at this time and if thev will do
their duty there ought to be a large
vote polled on Aug. Ith. The candi-
dates need the votes so they will be
able to make some kind of an esti-
mate of what they can expect in the
election. We sent you the full text of
the law a few weeks ago and ask you
'to keep it for reference, so we presume
you are familiar with the method of
voting and all the little points as to
qualification^ of electors, etc. Do your
cluty this time Y«>u know it is only
a choice of parties after this.
are two things every citizen of this country must buy. \X/hy not buy where
you can buy the BEST at the LOWEST prices, and where you get what
you pay for? We can furnish you these—
Shelf Hardware, Stoves, Harness, Cutlery,
Granite. Tin and Galvanized Ware, Pumps, Windmills, etc.
We will treat you right, for we want you for a constant customer.
Bolirv, Hall Company
It is only next Tnesday until the
state primary. You will of course
be at the polls to do your duty. And
as we expe t you to l>e there, we want
to call your attention to some of the
candidates whose names will be in evi-
dence on the ballot. One of the fore-
most candidates near the top of the
page will be Dennis T. Flynn, for I".
S. senator. Mr. K!y nn is one of the
leading men of th new >:aie and has
been for these many years. He has
represented the territory in congress
and been one of the guiding hands
that has helped to make the new state
the lustiest \oungrser ever born into
the union. That he is the right kind
is evidenced by the f ict that the people
hold to him. no matter whether he is
in office or not. You can't afford to
turn him down. He is a republican.
Next we call your attention to the
name of Dick T. Morgan. You all
know him by r putation and a eood
number have met him personally. He
is a genuine westerner, having Wen a
pioneer on the Kansa- desert years
ago, coming from there to Oklahoma
when it opened. He has been near to
the people for all the years that have
passed into history since the settlement
of opening day. He is a lawyer who
has given his especial attention to land
law and land business. He is Hdmit-
ted to be one of the most thorough
land men in the state and as such was
selected to take charge of the Wood-
ward land office. It was this service
in the land office that has brought him
into close touch with the people of this
f art of the state. He is a thorough
awyer and knows the needs and wants
of the people better than anv other
man in the district. He is such a man
rill get things for us if sent to
Washington, and such a man as will
heed the wishes of any constituent in
any way possible. He is a republican
and should get a big vote. In fact, to
make a long story short, you should
be there and cast your vote with the
republicans if you want to see Okla-
homa take the place in the union to
which she is entitled. This is presi-
dential year, the first time that Okla-
homans have ever had anything to
aay about who should be president.
Let us make use of this first time we
are in the ring to show the country
that we appreciate what the republican
party has done for us by making the
State republican. It is republican any-
way on an ordinary year. Come out
to the primary and let's cast more
| vote* for the good republicans who are
fore us than will be cast for the
democratic candidates, then go ahead
and make the bluff good bv carrving
the entire republican ticket*
