The wheat crop of Beaver
county is so fine this year
that our people have con-
cluded that it will be a grand
wheat country and next year
there will be thousands of acres
put in wheat. Durum wheat
seems to be the very article
for this country and a great
many will try it next year.
H. L. Huber & Co., have in-
augerated a move in the right
direction, In erecting their
implement shed they have cov-
ered the top and sides with cor-
rugated sheet iron. This
makes a neat looking building
besides it is fire-proof. The
cost of constructing a building
out of this material is but a
trifle more than if made out of
lumber and it is far better.

and they believe that the de-
cision in this case will show
them whether or not they
have a lawful right to put out
poison on their claims.

The public watering trough
in town is surrounded by
posts, placed just far enough
apart to prevent people driv-
ing in with teams and ram-
ming the sides of the trough.
Those watering teams are
supposed to unhitch. Tues-
day evening Rev. Marshall
drove up to the trough with-
out unhitching and of course
got mixed up with a post. He
deliberately pulled the post
up and threw it on the ground
and drove away. The act
was bad, and the example was
wr>rse, for if all persons should
do likewise it would cost the
town company or more a
lay to keep the wateringplaee
