Church South left this morning
for Lawton to attend the annual

Fortunes were told by witches <>f
frightful mien. Miss Kemble
delighted the assembled spoo'.K

at night." Refreshments were
served, consisting of doughnuts
and delicious sweet milk.
Some forty nine persons wer*
present and all declared it a very
enjoyable afiair. The liteary de-
partment of the league is a very
live institution and is moving
•teadily forward.
Obituary.
Little Johnnie, infant son of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moss and
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
Stewart, on Monday, Nov. 6,1905
passed to his Heavenly home.
He was the iov and pride of his
parents' hearts. Johnny. -
though not quite three years old.
was an exceptionally bright and
beautiful child. Tfte bereaved
parents have the heartfelt sym-
pathy of their many friends.
The Chief joins in this and kind-
ly asks them to remember that
the loved one ia safe in Jesus'
arms.
Here to Stay.
Mr. G. W. Travis, formerly of
Laporte, Indiana, and brother-in
law of Judge Lafe Knowles, has
arrived in the city and for the
present has located on North
Main street. Mr Travis brought
with him some very fine horses.
His large and fine team of mares
are as nice a? anything we have
seen in Oklahoma Mr. Travis
will make extensive improve-
ments on his farm north of the
city. He and his family are1
more than welcome to our rich i
and fertile country.
