You wish to assist the business world, we are (ore,
in keeping things running on an even keel. This will
be best for you, and for us, and for the nation aa a whole.
If business can be kept going at its greatest efficiency
prices will remain more stable, money will flow to and
fro between buyers and sellers and business will run along
in a pretty even way. (
We have investigated our business from many angles.
We have considered the advisability of raising prices, of
changing our organisation in various ways, and ha e

concluded that the raising of prices is something we
should not do except m a last resort.
We have found, however, that our expenses are
greater than ever before and that we are working our
capital to the limit. Adding capital would only serve to
make our expense more.
But we can make conditions much better if we may
alter our credit business. If we may do without the ac-
counting necessary when our sales are on credit it will
mean a great deal to us in our effort to maintain our past
service at present prices.
This is not a reflection on the class of credit we have
had. It has been good and we have been glad to have
it, but every time we charge up a dollar on our books it
costs us money. Instead of asking you to pay higher
prices we are going to ask you to pay cash a' the time
you buy.
This new pian will become effective January 1. We
are sure you appreciate our object and will be glad to co-
operate with us.
We appreciate your patronage of the past and hope
it will be continued.

Give It Now!
If your wife or mother failed to get a Hoosier Cabinet
for Christmas, why, get it for her now. Don't her wait
through a whole year of the same old kitchen dradger* for
another Christmas. Brighten the days a bit for her—aive her
a Hoosier.
No doubt that she wants one—has always wanted one. A
Hoosier will shorten her hours of work, make her kitchen work
a pleasure. Place every wanted article at her fingers' tips in
its proper place, and keeps them always handy.
The Hoosier saves its cost over and over. Because it saves
waste, both of materials used and money, it is economical. It
saves room, too, for every Hoosier is built just as convenient
and complete as a cabinet can be made, and saves the use of
tables and racks and shelves.
Hooeiers are made for yean of real service; their cost fig-
ured in years of service, is practically nothing. Come in and
see for yourself. Or just tell her to stop in and pick the one
she wants. r
