The prohibition question is one
that is goin£ to come before the
peopleand the constitutional con-
vention for consideration and ac-
tion, and this is especially true of
thii part of the state where the
saloons are becoming the excep-
ts n instead of the rule. Some
are advocating local option, some
absolute prohibition every where
and other s<>me other form of con -
trol.
In our opinion local option is a
failure from the standpointof tem-
perance. You may stop the sale
here in Foss by the local option
method and allow our neighbor-
ing towns to sell and there will
be as many drunken men and
boys in Fos« as thore was with
the open saloon. We favor one
of the two proposition in control- 1 « „ .
