Mrs. Lamar Looney visited in
Mangum several days last week
and we would not be surprised
if her visit should result, in her
announcing for State Senator.
In fact that particular bee has
been buzzing in her bonnet for
some time, and with the earnest
solicitations and numerous pledg
es of support, both at home and
at Mangum, the probabilities are
that she will be persuaded to
make the race Mrs. Looney has
served two years as Register of
Deeds and is serving her fourth
year as County Clerir, and bears
the destinction of having kept
the neatest, most correct set of
books of any County Clerk in
Oklahoma, and having defeated
several of the strongest men in
the county, she will be bard to
beat should she decide to make
the race for State Senaoor.
That'suit will wear twice as long
if you ge? an extra pair of pants.
