County Attorney Improving
County Attorney, R. D. Miller,
who has been confinod to his

Sheriff J. C. Gambill has just
returned from a trip to eastern
Oklahoma and Arkansas.
While gone he went to McAl-
ister at the request of the
friends and relativesc of Hubert
Holly who is in trouble at that
pl&ce, charged, with shooting a
girl who was in a car which ran
by his wagon and knocked down
one of his horses. Mr. Gam-
bill says the people were very
indignant at first but that the
excitement is subsiding. Mr.
Holly's bond was fixed at $3,000
and he will probably be reliesed
in a short time.
While gone Mr. Gambill also
visited his son, Lieut. Herbert
N - Gaftibill who is stationed at
Camp Pike, Ark.

The Department is most anx-
