THE CITY
TAILOR SHOP
The Best Equipped Shop in the
County and one of the Best
in the State of Okla.
C. B. Berry of the City Tailor Shop has been in busi-
ness in Hollis for the last year. He came here from Nocona,
Texas with ten years experience in the Tailoring business,
and knows all about the business. He has the best shop in
the county, and one of the best in the State. He is far bet-
ter equipped than the average tailor in a town the size of
Hollis. ^ ,
Tuesday morning he took us through the cleaning
room and explained their method of Dry Cleaning. He
showed the washer and the location of the gasoline tanks,
which are buried under the ground, and are arranged in
such a way as to settle the gasoline in one while it is being
used out of another and how they are cleaned out and the
gasoline used again. The drier is a metal vessel that is run
by electricity, as is the washer, and makes 1400 revolu-
tions to the minute and drys the clothes by the motion, or
revolution of the vessel.
Mr. Berry has had enough experience in the work to
guarantee all the work to be entirely satisfactory, and you
have no cause to fear that your clothes will be faded or
spoiled. He knows the best process to protect your cloth-
ing. Have a steam press that puts creases in to stay.
Two men are employed beside Mr. Berry himself.
While they specialize in Dry Cleaning, their Tailoring
Department is just as large and as important and Mr. Berry
see's that this end of the business does not drag.
He says that they handle only the very best of Sample
lines; those that stand out from the crowd and that they
can guarantee with a guarantee that makes good.
They handle sample lines for Women's Suits, Dresses,
Skirts and Waists, as well as samples for Men's.
While they have as cheap a Tailor Made Suit as any-
one that has an all wool line, they do not particularly cater
to the cheaper trade that wants a Suit for so little
that he can't guarantee for an all wool suit.
They handle a Ladies' line of Tailor Made and Ready
Made Suits that can't be duplicated for the same price in
any store. Mr. Berry has had as much experience in this
line as the Dry Cleaning, and from reports coming from his
many customers, he can't be surpassed in taking of measure
and pleasing. . .
They have a model enclosed car delivery and give ex-
cellent service in quick deliveries.
If all the people in Hollis knew the work that this firm
does they would be proud to say that they had any town
equalled in Tailoring and Dry Cleaning, and a great many
bested. Truly we should be proud to support such a film.
