C. W. Gilliland returned last
Sunday from Mineral Wells
where he had been to see Mrs.
Gilliland a few days who is
there in a saitarium under treat
ment, and has been for some
time. Mr. Gilliland reports that
Mrs. Gilliland is getting along
very well.
Hon. J. J. Savage was in town
Monday on business.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Brasher,
of near Martin were in town
last Monday shopping. This is
the first time Mr. Brasher has
been in town for two months.

With an attack of pneumonia,
T. R. Whisenant of Dodson-
ville, was in town Tuesday on
business. Mr . Whisenant re-
turned about a month ago from
Alpine, Teyas, where he had
been for several months for the
benefit of his health. His
health has improved wonderful-
ly, and he feels much better
than he did when he left.
