At a meeting of the City Council of the Town of Hollis, State of Oklahoma, held on the first
Monday in July, 1916, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7378, Chapter 72, Revised Laws of
Oklahoma 1910, the following itemized estimate for current expenses of said municipality far
the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 1916, and ending June 30th, 1917, was adopted and approved,
and ordered published in the Hollis Post-IIerald, a newspaper published and of general circula-

Mrs. Pearl Vanhorn Dead
Mrs. Pearl Vanhorn, who has
been confined to'her bed far a
long time, died' at the home ctiL
her parents,. Rev. and Mrs. J. W.
Johnson, who live near HoHlat.
Mr. Vanhorn's father and
mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Van-
horn, of Woodville, Oklahoma,
were here to attend the funeral
services.
Mrs. Vanhorn was 29 years
old and was a member of the
Baptist church.
She leaves a husband, 3. R,
Vanhorn. three little children,
five brothers, three sisters and
a father and mother to mount
her loss.

H. J. Reynolds Dead
H. J. Reynolds, father of W.
H. Reynolds, who lives in the
Martin neighborhood, died sud-
denly last Friday. He had been
poorly for several days.
Mr. Reynolds was 84 years of
a<re. and had lived in Oklahoma
for the last twenty years.
Funeral services were held on
last Saturday, being conducted
by Rev. Starkey of Martha, and
his remains were laid to rest in
the Hollis Cemetery.
