Mr. M. D. Newcomh,
Box 100, Apache, Okla.
Dear Sir:
Receipt in acknowledged of your letter
of April 2<Jtb, in which your inquire con-
cerning the affair of the Union Mutnal
Insurance Company. The insurance
commissioner was of the opinion that a
law passed hy the last legislature had
the effect of either requiring the compa-
ny to reorganise or retire from business,
but this <4Mce did not agree with him in
the eon tention. The commissioner then
so the papers nay, bad the county attor
ney bring suit in the district court of
Oklahoma county to compel it to dis
continue business. Whether this would
have been suntained cannot be deter,
mined, for I am informed that the coun
ty attorney ha* Mince dismissed it.
think it is conceded that the company is
financially responsible, but the trouble
arose aver a law pissed at the recent
session of the legislature, which we
think in no way affects the Union Mu
tual Company, but which the insurance
commissioner though, affected it very
materially. There are only two Oklaho-
ma companies doing this class of busi.
ness. A feud of long standing between
these two companies exiHts. Whether it
had anything to do with this suit, we
cannot determine.
Respectfully,
The Attorney General.

Good spirits, enthusiasm, and conti-
dence are the natural right of every
healthy individual. Healthy people
must DO THINGS—they have that
in them that creates energy, that DE-
MANDS action, Have you only steam
enough to just drag around—despond-
ent, afraid of people no better than
yourself? Many a man lies awake all
night before an important business en-
gagement. Next morning, nervous,
disheartened, he walks around the
block time after time, afraid to meet his
mail—and if he does force himself to do
so is in no condition to present his plan
or create a favorable impression. In
"Man Builder" we offer you a remedy
that would have given you restful sleep;
and, refreshed, with nerves soothed and
head up, you could meet President
Taft and act with credit to yourself.
"Man Builder" is a product of a Persian
plant. It contains no opium or coal-tar
product; removes habits rather than
forms one. Every dose puts you one
stoR nearer where you should be, and
if you cease taking it you don't lose all
and more than you gained. There is
nothing else in any drug store "just as
good." We will send you, in plan
wrapper, charges prepaid—$ 1.00 per
box-six boxes for *5.00 and return the
*5.00 if not satistied. Don't lose a day.
Get it at once.

"GOME DIWK, BALD HEAD"
The fact that Eli/a was angered 3,000
years ago when the children called out
the above shows that bald Jieads were
as unpopular then as now. Gray hairs
may be a crown of glory. Not so the
bald head. To those who are threaten-
ened with baldness we offer a prevent-
ive-yea more, we claim that manycom-
paratively bald can once more have a
good growth of hair.
Some years ago a medical missionary
treating a diseased scalp where the hair
had entirely disappeared was surprised
to note after a few weeks that hair was
growing thickly where the healing lo-
tiou had been applied. Aftorward other
bald headed people were treated, with
the result that in most cases hair grew
again, We have named this prepara-
tion "Baldine." It comes in crystal
form at .r>0e per box. We are so sure of
its efficiency that wo will guarantee two
boxes, costing 91.00, to give you satis-
factory results. If not, mail us the tops
of the boxes and we will return money
at once. Don't allow druggists to give
you something else. A money order for
11.00 will cost you 3o. We will gladly
mail you, charges prepaid, on receipt of
price. Brown Chemical Co.,

Aids Nature
The freat success of Dr. Pierce'* Golden Medics! Ma.
covery in curintf weak stomachs, waited bodies, weak
lun|s, and obstinate and lingering coughs, is bated on
the recognition of the fundamental truth that "Golden
Medical Discovery" supplies Nsture with body-build-
ing, tissue-repairing, inuacle-making materials, in con-
densed and conccntratcd form. With this help Nature
tupplica the neccbsary strength to the stomach to digest
food, build up the body and thereby throw off lingering
obstinate coughs. The "Discovery" r-.-cstablishes the
digestive and nutritive organs in sound health, purifies
and enriches the bluod, and noumheu thc nerves—in
short establishes sound vigorous health.

In another part of this paper appears
an advertisement which is the second of
a serie« of advertisements that means
much to the people of this community,
It evolves a plan by which the consum
era will be paid actual cash for buying
commodities of everyday necessity. It
is the greatest?opportunity ever offered
since the days of free wheat in Rome
and everybody will take to it like a duck
takes to water because it will mean an
actual saving to you every time you buy
commodities that you need every day,
because you will be getting something
for nothing-just like "getting money,
from home." The advertisements,
which will appear from time to time
during the next month, will fully ex-
plain the plan it will not be long until
the "I, O. U. Coming to You" phrase
will be a house-hold by word.
We know we have now got your curi-
osity aroused and you are anxious to
know what it is all about and iwe don't
mind giving you'a little hint on the
plan in advance. The Hobart Daily
and Weekly Republican has allied it-
self with a New York concern, the I. O.
U. Company, who have been working
many months in an endeavor to interest
the large producers, bakers, grocers,
manufacturers of food stuffs and the
necessities of life, to share their profits
with the people who consume their pro-
ducts rather than with the advertising
agencies as they have been doing for
many years. The company has been
successful and the manufacturers are
going to pay to the consumers the mil-
lions of dollars, whioh they have hereto-
fore paid to the advertising agencies, in
the redemption of I. O. U. coupons.
These coupons will be placed in th©
packages containing the products of
the manufactarers and on each coupon,
in plain Hgnrae, will be stated its face
value. These coupons are good for
their face value. Not for a specified list
of magazines, books or premiums, which
you must send away for, but for any-
thing you wish to buy right here at
home. TheyJare good, for instance, at
this office on subscription just the same
as cash.
Enough has been said that you may
know what's coming to you. Watch for
the advertisement and don't lose Hny
part of the plan and, in the meantime,
if you run across any of the coupons
hang on to them like you would so
much cash.
The people of this country owe it to
the I. O. U. Company of New York, for
this clever bit of planning and they are
to be congratulated upon their efforts
in working into tho bands of the peo-
ple. And The Republican is well pleas-
ed that it may joinj with them in the
plan that the people of this community
may be numbered among those who
get the benefit.

E.S.Bacon, 11 Bast St., Bath, Me.,

menced taking them, I began to regain
my strength. The inflammation clear-
ed, and I am far better than I have been

dizzy spells are a thing of the past, and
I highly recommend Foley's Kidney
