Died Sarah M. Haun. Febru

people, of this comunity are a-
roused over the proprosed divis-
ion of the county, and already
two meetings have been held to
to prevent such a catastrophe.
At neither of.the above meetings
was the editor of the Pumpkin
Rind present. During the last
campaign he maligned, traduced
and libeled the populist and dem-
ocratic candidate and advised the
people to rally to the support of
Sniggs.
Some of the people here he
-said, are under the impression
that it is necessary to vote for
the democratic candidate because
he lives in the central part of the
.county and would consequently
vigorously oppose county •divis-
ion. Such a thing need rrnt be
