EXECUTIVE
PROMOTIONS
This week, E. J. Braun, President of T. G. & Y. Stores Company
announced several promotions to be effective January 1, 1975.

J. M. NEWGENT

J. M. NEWGENT has been elected Executive Vice President. Newgent,
a native of Arkansas, joined T. G. & Y. in 1947. He has served as Manager,
Supervisor, and District Manager in the Kansas City Division and as Division
Vice President of the California Division. In 1970, Newgent came to Oklahoma
City Headquarters; he has been Vice President and Executive Vice President of
Store Operations.
