A Happy Experience.
Dear Brother Brewer:
T have reached the blessed state
in my Christian experience of per-
fect love. I do not care much for
the name of the blessing, but I
know I have the experience.
This the 1st day of February in
the year of our Lord, 1888.
J. T. IIali..
Boggy Depot, I. T.
Tlie above note for the paper
■gives us great pleasure. While the
name of this blessing is not of the
greatest importance yet we prefer
the scriptural one used by Method- 1
jst—"Perfect love or entire sancti-
fication." Other names are mis-
leading. When a Christian reaches
that experience in which he loves
God with all the heart, soul, mind
and thought and his neighbor as
himself, why should he not rejoice
and tell it to the -world if he feels
that by so doing he will glorify
God? The Lord bless and keep
you in all things, my dear brother.

Tells us not that the Indians are
becoming civilized. We saw a
Cheyenne chief buying a tablecloth
yesterday of the finest fabric-—Re-
■pvblican Traveler.
Probably so. To sell tablecloths
to the Indians is an every day oc-
. currence here, but after noticing
the way most of them wear them,
•one can .hardly call that method
<civilized. —Purcell Register.
