have for the past few weeks
been doing thousands of dollars
worth of damage. State and Co.,
officials, Extensions workers
and farmers have be6n co-oper-
ating in poisening them and are
having good success. Some pois
ening of grasshoppers has been
carried on in this county but
not very extensively. Mr. Joe
Brown living north of Wheeless
has had wonderful success in
killing the erashoppers in his
alfalfa. Now that the grasshop
pers are older it requires
