FOR CHEESE FACTORY
HUGE RALLY MEETING

The Dairy department of the
Frisco Keilroad has interested J
L Kraft Bros & Co of Chicrgo
in the matter of locating some
cheese factories in Oklahoma
The Kraft Bros are interested
to sncb an extent that they have
decided to visit various towns on
the Frisco for the purpose of lo-
cating at points where the milk
production is sufficient to justify
the location of a plant
The President of the company
wishes to meet each and every
farmer and dairyman within
hauling distance of Thomas and
will be here Wednesday April 15
at 11 a m for -the purpose of
finding out as nearly as possible
bow much milk is produced and
may be marketed
The Cheese company - finances
its’ own business asks no dona-
tions merely wishes to know the
milk production here It is a
well known fact that cheese fac-
tories pay the top prices for milk
and cream and the establishing
of a plant here means money in
the pocket of each man who has
milk to sell '
Let us have a large crowd in
Thomas Wednesday and show
Mr Kraft and the Frisco people
that we are a progressive com-
munity always alert for the bet-
tering of our markets Come
everybody!

VOTE DECISIVE
By Ballit 133 ts 84 Pespk Eatarse City
Admiaiitratiea Posl Hall Legislatics
The citizens of Thomas do n
desire the pool hall in their mids1
Some time ago the city council
passed an ordinance prohibiting
' the operation and maintaining of
pool or billiard halls within the
city limits of Thomas An initi-
ative petition was circulated by
the pool hall men to call for a
vote of the people asking a re-
peal of said ordinance The
proposition to repeal was reject-
ed by a majority of 49 votes The
people of Thomas have the habit
of endorsing the city administra-
tion in fair legislation The
’ election was a very quiet affair
and the result only fulfilled the
prediction of a majority of the
voters - -

The stores will soon begin to
answer the questions that so
?iany women want answered As
ou read 'yoar newspaper you
will notice the new spring note
creeping into the advertising
The stores are already beginning
to show the beautiful cottons
from which women will make
their summer frocks" The wo-
man who expects to keep posted

tising reader She must avail
herself of the service her favorite
newspaper provides for her It
is the best lashion news in the
world because it is based on ac-

theories It is up to the minute
It is written in a way that makes

most unnecessary to remind
American women of the joys of
advertising — for they are already
the greatest readers of advertis-
