of one of the I wo second grades
at Will Rogers school said that
she was old-fashioned to the ex-

they have studied more words
W'e came into Mrs Pritchard's

the front of the room and the
remainder was studying silently
They iNt e all reviewing their

"See that mark? It shows you
that you are to speak that sen-

then rereads the sentence with
good expression
A bulletin board was an in-

display of art work using a
medium called "Crayon Resist"
which intrigued us and at anoth-

crayon drawings of Navajo ho-

Navajo Indians but most inter-
esting was the class collection
of stories about them also illus-

take home for parents to see
Some of these may have "100"
marked upon them which tneans
the same as "Satisfactory" She
uses the number chiefly because
the children know that PO
