Photograph taken for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Fender Kissed. When a police car gets involved in a fender-banging scrape it's usually news. But G.C. Leighton, Nicholas Hills deputy marshal, doesn't think so. Especially when his police car (right), is involved. Leighton was returning to Nicholas Hills after delivering a prisoner at the county jail Monday afternoon when the car at the left rolled out into the street from a private driveway in the 3200 block N Shartel. Leighton's car smacked into the car's right rear fender. Oklahoma photographer Casey Petrauskas arrived on the scene and snapped his pictures. Leighton didn't like it and threatened to sue if the picture was printed. And Casey got a personal warning. " You'll regret it," he quoted the officer. The car on the left is owned by Mrs. Kelsie Miller, 724 W Hill. No charges were filed."
