Plans for federation with the
national organization of women's
clubs in the fall were discussed
and also dtscussion of a change in
the name of the club was held
Mrs Orval Jones read an article
on "The Ideal Clubwoman" which
was very inspirational
It was the regular gift exchange
day and each gift was accompan-
ied by a poem revealing the iden-
tity of the giver heretofore un-
known Mrs James Clingenpeel sister
of the hostess presided at the tea
table
Mrs Neil Bartholomew was an
additional guest
This meeting closed the season's
activities except for a called
business meeting to be announced

When Circle 1 of the Methodist
South Women's Missionary so-
ciety met at the home of Mrs J
L Wilbanks Wednesday afternoon
Mrs C A Melton reviewed the
second and third chapters of the
book "Radiant Heart" which the
group is studying These chapters
were "Fellowship in the Gospel"
and "Radiant Faith" Mrs Mel-
ton will complete the review at
future meetings

Among Stillwater summer tour-
ists is Miss Mary Tree Watson
who sailed Tuesday from San

Mariposa of the Matson line for
an eight weeks' cruise of the South
Pacific ocean
After a day at Los Angeles
the ship left Los Angeles harbor
today The cruise includes stops
at Hawaii Somao and Fiji of the
South Sea islands group and at
New Zealand and Australian cities

The marriage of Miss Elizabeth
Ann Scott daughter of Mr and

place Wednesday at noon in the
home of the bride's parents with

Mrs Curtis Williams sister of
the bride was her only attendant
Lloyd Morris Bartlesville was best

'the bride wore a gown of heavy
white crepe with a suede finish

material An elbow-length veil
of illusion fell from the cap
An informal reception followed
the ceremony after which the
couple left for a short wedding

dation Leadership Training camp
at Shelby Mich August 15-28

the camp which is sponsored by
