All three suffered cuts and bruises. -- A motorist who darted across the street to miss two school girls Tuesday became involved in a head-on collision with a truck, sending three persons to Mercy Hospital. The girls 6 and 10, were not injured. Kennard P. Wooldridge, 20, of 603 NW 5, told trooper Bill Norton, of the highway patrol he was driving west on NW 23 in the 6500 block when the sisters leaving St. Joseph's school darted across the street. "I swerved and nearly turned over," Wooldridge said. His automobile crashed head-on into a pickup truck driven by Jimiie P. Wolfenbarger, 27 of 6705 NW 25. Wolfenbarger and his brother, Claude V. Wolfenbarger, 32, of 6714 NW 24, were taken to Mercy hospital with severe cuts and bruises. Hospital attendants said the driver may have suffered internal injuries. Wooldridge received emergency treatment at Mercy hospital and was taken to his private Physician for a further examination and treatment. the automobile barely missed the sisters, Cathy, 10 and Judith Ann Chism, 6,both on Route three, Oklahoma City, trooper Norton reported."
