- Content Description: Photograph taken for a newspaper owned by the Oklahoma Publishing Company. Caption: "SMASHED VEHICLES lay by the side of I-40 two miles east of El Reno Saturday night after a grinding head-on collision that killed three persons and injured two others. Officials said the pickup truck, shown above, driven by an El Reno man, was traveling the wrong way in the eastbound lanes of the highway when it collided with an oncoming car carrying four Virginia persons. Both drivers were killed and a woman passenger in the car also died."
