The members of the hospitality
committee of the Sand Springs Wo-
man's Club met Wednesday in the
home of Mrs Lula D Bernard on

the Mother's Day tea to be given
on April 22 in connection with the
regular club meeting and also for
a garden party to be held during
the spring
The committee members enjoyed
a covered dish luncheon at One
o'clock preceding the business
meeting of the committee

Missionary Society of the Methodist
Church The long luncheon table

Pop Brown Celebrates
78th Birthday Anniversary
In celebration of the 78th birth-
day anniversary of Pop Brown the
girls from the Kerr offices were
assembled at luncheon Friday in
the Brown home 404 Washington
Sweet peas were used on the lunch-
eon table and about the house and
the girls presented the honor guest
with a lovely bouquet of flowers
A poem written by Harley Alt-
kin which was read and presented
to Mr Brown was as follows:
