Cast members of the "Wizard of Oz," Northeast Junior
Highs major spring production, will give three per-
formances within a period of 24 hours.
This afternoon the "Wizard" was presented at Northeast
auditorium for Will Rogers students in a traditional matinee
performance.
Tonight at 7:30 the scenery and cast move to Eula B.
Peterson Auditorium on the high school campus for the
public presentation. Adult tickets are 75 cents; junior high
tickets are 35 cents and elementary student tickets 25 cents.
Friday afternoon the show goes on the road again. There
will be a matinee performance at Washington school. Ad-
mission for this is 25 cents.
Tonight at 9 p.m. immediately after the "Wizard of Oz"
performance, the winning acts for the Altus High School
Talent Show will have a dress rehearsal.
After a preliminary hearing held Wednesday afternoon, an
Altus man was bound over for trial on third degree arson
charges. Charged with the offense ana placed on a 21,500
bond is Ray Dell Henderson, 608 E. Liveoak.
Testimony included statements from Oklahoma Highway
Patrol Trooper Brad Smallwood and arson investigator
Kenneth Willie from Oklahoma City.
Henderson is charged with the burning of his auto on
