The accident started when Walker Hay jr., 1910 NE 44, driving a Curtis Candy Co. truck, crossed the intersection going west. A Greyhound bus, coming at a right angle, swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting the truck but swiped it. The swerve propelled the carrier into a car, parked in the service station, which slammed into the gas pump. The car was owned by Ernest E. Gaskill, 2507 N Hudson. R. G. Holleman, Tulsa bus operator, said none of his passengers was injured."
