sisted Saturday as they count-
ed the public cost of support-
ing hundreds of illegitimate
children.
Taxpayers generally must foot
the bill ao a few can satisfy their
whims for "free love." Records
indicate a very high percent of
all illegitimate children land on
county and state public assistance
rolls.
And, according to county of-
ficiate, promiscuity is increasing
in Oklahoma City. Actual figures,
however, are not available.
1,400 Cases Are Filed
Officials of the department of
public welfore won’t divulge the
number of illegitimate children on
state aid to dependent children

The county attorney's office has
some reliable information on the
