•Nu-Image is a club for students enrol led or interested in RSC’s
radiological technology program. The club’s purpose is to promote
quality education experiences for radiotechnology students. The
club is similar to the X-Posures club but is for freshmen only.
Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. in HE306.
Frances Chaney is president, and Jo Bishop, 733-7569, is sponsor.
•Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature meets to prepare
for the mock legislature at the State Capitol. The purpose of the
club is to provide students with a beneficial educational experience
in the governmental process. Chris LaFrance, 733-7364, is the
sponsor.
•Phi Theta Kappa honor society is an international organiza-
tion that recognizes and encourages leadership, scholarship and
service. Alpha Eta Alpha, the RSC chapter, meets the third Thurs-
day at 2 and 4 p.m., generally in the Student Conference Room. Phil
Lupton is president, and Steve Howard, 733-7491, is the main
sponsor.
•Republicans Club promotes the principles of the Republican
Party, aids in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of
government and develops political skills and leadership abilities as
preparation for future service to the Party and country. Jamie
Beller is chair, and Judy Robbins, 733-7348, is sponsor.
•Respiratory Care Club is inactive this semester. It promotes
the profession of respiratory care and provides education to the
public regarding cardiopulmonary diseases. It is open to students
enrolled in classes preparing them for entry into the professional
education of the respiratory therapist program or admitted to the
program. Toney Dake,733-7572, is sponsor.
•Scholar’s League is an organization for freshmen scholarship
recipients. Members participate in community service activities in
and outside of campus and are provided the opportunity to receive
more scholarships and academic benefits. The next meeting is to be
announced. Kendra Young is president, and Rick Woodard, 733-
7379, is sponsor.
•Student Nurses Association aids in the development of the
individual student and instills in students of nursing an awareness
of and desire to contribute to improving the health care of all people.
Meetings are the last Thursday of each month at 3:15 p.m. in
HE209. Karen Wood, 736-0343, is sponsor.
•Student Senate is the elected governmental body represent-
ing RSC students. Meetings are every Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the
Student Conference Room. A’ndria Branch is president, and Rick
Woodard, 733-7387, is the senate sponsor.
•Wellness and Athletic Trainers Society promotes careers
and educational opportunities available today in the fields of
wellness, athletic training, sports medicine and health, physical
education and recreation for students. The next WATS meeting is
Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. in HPE103. HeatherOverton is president, and Liz
Brown, 733-7353, is sponsor.
•X-Posures Club is an educational club designed to promote
professionalism in the field of radiography. The club is for sopho-
mores only. Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 1
p.m. in HE302. Cindy Stevens is president, and Jo Bishop, 733-
7569, is sponsor.

•Consuming Fire Biblical Studies educates and encourages
students, faculty and staffin the word of God through the study and
discussion of the Holy Bible. CFBC meets every Monday and
Wednesday at 8 a.m. in the Student Center main dining room. Wes
Bell is president, and Linda Tucker, 733-7556, is the sponsor.
•Drama Club encourages a working interest in and promotion
of the dramatic arts. Trey Mikolasky, 736-0364, is the sponsor.
•Epsilon Omega works to develop leadership and service skills
to help pre-law students succeed in academics and beyond. Next
meeting isOct. 8th at 2 p.m. in the Student Conference Room in the
Student Center. Rick Woodard, 733-7387, is the sponsor.
•Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents the challenge
and adventure of receiving Christ as Savior and serving Him in
relationships and in the fellowship of the church. It meets every
other Sunday at 8 p.m. in the gym Glenn Chilcoat, 733-7351, is
sponsor.
•Future Criminal Justice Professionals broadens the expe-
riences of criminal justice students through excursions, guest
speakers, films and associated exercises. FCJP meets the first
Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Student Conference Room. Ted Logan,
736-0238, is the sponsor.
•Haven Read & Discuss Club is inactive at present. It is for
people who enjoy reading and discussing what they read with
others. Sandra Keneda, 733-7384, is the sponsor.
•Hispanic Students Association unites students through
educational and social activities and encourages awareness of the
heritage, accomplishments and goals of the Hispanic society. Meet-
ings are A-week Fridays at noon in the Rose Room. Janina Guzman
is president, and Ayme Diaz, 733-7979, is the sponsor.
•Human Resources Association acquaints students with
jobs in human resource management and/or labor relations, keeps
them up to date, networks with community practitioners, promotes
professionalism and encourages adherence to the code of ethics.

•International Students Club provides social opportunities
and acculturation assistance, promotes cultural awareness and
diversity and establishes campus participation for RSC interna-
tional students. Meetings are A-week Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. in
SSB206. Anagabriella Carvallo is president, and Dr. Joanne
McMillen, 733-7319, and Dr. MariLyn Beaney, 733-7506 are the
sponsors.
•Library Club stimulates interest in reading, viewing and
evaluating information with a focus on learning more about the
library, technology, and improving library services. Jenan El-
Bakoush is president, and Sharon Saulmon, 736-0259 is the spon-
sor.
•Mu Rho Alpha provides educational and social enrichment for
medical records/health information management students. Meet-
ings are the first Wednesday of each month at 11 a.m. in HE304.
Carolyn Mengel is president, and Cecil Brooks, 733-7578, is spon-
sor.
Below is the most current information given to 15th Street
News. Any changes or additions for the March calendar
should besubmitted by Feb. 15 to Student Activities and 15th
Street News.
Clubs are open to all students, and new dubs may be
organized by students at any time. Anyone wanting more
information about current clubs or how to start a new one
may call Student Activities at 733-7678.
•Abled Disabled Association has as its purpose to create a
higher sense of awareness among students, faculty and adminis-
trators of the capabilities of individuals with disabilities. ADA
meets at 2:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the Student Conference
Room in the Student Center. Nancy King is president, and Linda
Jansen, 733-7407, is the sponsor.
•American Indian Association stresses the student’s com-
mitment to self, helping American Indian students, reducing attri-
tion, protecting civil rights and making RSC the center for Native
American studies. AIA members learn about Native American
culture and attend various Native American activities. Meetings
are A-week Tuesdays at noon in the Student Conference Room at
the Student Center. Sponsors are Bob Leveridge, 736-0237; Evelyn
Hutchings, 736-0203; Les Berryhill, 733-7350; and Connie Myrick.

•Aquatic Club provides a variety of pool activities including
snorkeling, water volleyball and basketball, scuba diving and pool
safety for students, faculty and staff. It is inactive at this time. Bret
Wood, 733-7398, is the sponsor.
• Aviation Enthusiasts of Rose Organization provides stu-
dents with avenues for further development oftheir piloting skills
and aeronautical expertise. Regular AERO meetings are the first
Wednesdays at 2:45 p.m. in ET205. A mini meeting for evening
students will meet at 5 p.m. in ET201. Daniel Hess is president,and
Sharland Deitz, 733-7378, is the sponsor.
• Baptist Student Union. sponsored by the Baptist Collegiate
Ministries of Oklahoma, offers a variety of activities throughout
the week. Every Thursday, BSU offers free lunch and a time to
fellowship with other Christians.
BSU helps Christian college students develop a support group
and grow in discipleship, knowledge of the Bible and responsible
leadership, as well as providing them with opportunities for service
and worship. Call Jeremy Davidson, president at 737-2922 for a
schedule.
•Black Students Association meets to unite RSC students
through educational and social activities, make them aware of the
contributions, heritage and goals of the black society and further an
appreciation for black accomplishments and achievements. Meet-
ings are at noon Mondays in the Student Conference Room.

sponsor.
•Broadcast Club is designed to promote broadcasting and
creativity. Meetings are the second and fourth Tuesday at noon in
HU224. Skip Leckness, 736-0272, is sponsor.
•Business Club is a professional organization offering various
activities for Business majors. Meetings are the second Thursday
at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Conference Room. Art Zenner, 733-
7471, is sponsor.
•Campus Democrats Club promotes the principles of the
Democratic Party, aids in the election of Democratic candidates at
all levels of government and develops political skills and leadership
abilities as preparation for future service to the Party and country.

•Chess Club is not meeting at this time. For any questions

•Chi Alpha Christian Association provides students with
service and fellowship opportunities while promoting a Chris-
tian lifestyle on campus. Donna Wilson, 733-7472, is the
sponsor.
•Circle K Club is a civic organization that works with the
Kiwanis. Members meet every Thursday at 11 a.m. at Desert Oaks
restaurant with the Kiwanis Club to discuss and assist in projects
the Kiwanis is working on. Circle K members also do some of these
