COUNTY SEAT CONTES’
It is understood the count seat
contest between Cherokee and
Carmen will be pulled off some
time in April
appointed in the case by the Su-
preme court will begin the
taking of the testimony - It
is expected that the trial will re
suit in another election being held
with Carmen making another ef-
fort to outvote the present county
seat It is claimed by the citizens
of Carmen that under the present
conditions they wilt only be com-
pelled to secure a majority of the
votes cast to win that they only
needed in the neighborhood of
four hundred at the last election
and that in all probability - they
will be in the running in the event
another election is called
