In the second period, a 28-yard
field goal by Shawn Duffey and a
two yard run by Jason Savage put
the Bulldogs on top, 15-0, at in-
termission.
Shane Denard and Mike Harrel
scored on runs of 8 and one yards
respectively to round out the scor-
ing.
In the game, the Minco defense
held the Bobcats to just 37 yards
rushing and four first downs.
"We played the way we thought
we would and the kids performed
the way we thought they would,"
Coach Tom Cobble said. "Other
than a few miscues in the kicking
game, we played pretty well."
Led by defensive tackle, T.J.
Hamill, 6'2", 255 lbs, Cobble says
this will be one of the better teams
the Bulldogs face this year.

The Tuttle Tigers lost a close
game to Lindsay during their sea-
son opener, Friday night.
The Leopards first scored on a
Jason Perry run and took the lead
7-0. Tuttle then came back with a
long drive at 1:28 in the first quar-
ter with Ryan Pace coming across
the line for the Tigers. The Jeff
Douglas extra point kick was good
and tied the score, 7-7.
In second quarter action, the
Leopards took the lead on an Aric
Bearden run; the extra point was
good. Tiger tailback. Pace, came
out with an arm injury.
Lindsay scored another touch-
down with three minutes left in (he
half on a Scotty Henson run and a
failed two-point conversion,
bringing the score to 20-7 at the
half.
In the third quarter, Tuttle tried
