The Norman Tigers rolled up
313 yaids against the Chickasha
Chicks Friday mglit to take a
decisive 42 6 football victory over
the Clucks at Memorial Stadium
The Chickasha squad had a hard
time moving on ground against
the Tigers but found their pass-
ing attack working exceptionally
well building up 95 yards through
the air
The Chicks had trouble all night
trying to penetrate the nigged
Tiger line and to rely on wide
sweeping runs from the Chick
halfbacks and aerial attempts
by Chi kasha quarterback Ken-
neth McClanaban Chickasha
completed 11 passes out of 18
for its best passing percentage
thus far this season
Norman seemed to have com-
mand of the game from the start
with its backfield centered around
Tiger fullback Gary King King
proved very effective in running
around the Chickasha ends and
through the middle line
Chickasha s lone touchdown
came in the firt quarter on a
series of very fine pass plds
from the Chickasha quarteiback
to end Randy Mosley and right
halfback Charley Try on The
senes covered 16 plays before
quarterback McClatiohan threw
a pass from four yards out to
Try on for the TD The conver-
sion try by alternate Chick quar-
terback Stewart was no good

from scrimmage in Chiekisha’s
firt series to do it The Chicks
had too many Tiger backs going
against them in the game and
couldn’t cope with the Norman
line to get anywheie on the
