Juvenile arrested after fire closes Chickasha store
The Chickasha City Council approved the
addition of two drug K-9 units to the police
department at the Monday meeting.
CPD is hoping to have the dogs ready and
the officers trained by September or October,
Interim Police Chief Shanon McClain said.
Two current officers would be assigned to the
unit instead of hiring additional officers.

A Silver Alert was issued by Tuttle Police on
Wednesday after a woman was reported miss-
ing from a nursing home.
Erma Burleson, 65, has been missing from
the Tuttle Care Center since early Wednesday
morning. An alert was issued on Wednesday
afternoon by Tuttle PD asking the public for
any information on her whereabouts.
Burleson was last known to be wearing a red
shirt and blue jeans. According to the report
she suffers from a proven medical or physical
disability and is in danger of serious injury or
death.
Anyone with information is asked to contact
law enforcement. The Tuttle PD can be reached
at(405) 381-4467.

card. Woods had allegedly
been spotted driving through
a residential yard along the
western portion of Chickasha
Avenue.
"While speaking with
Bethani, I noticed her speech
was slow and slurred. Bethani
appeared to have some sort
of brown substance on her
face," Hunt said in an inci-
dent report.
