Board Minutes
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
Copies of briefs that had been filed with various official branches of
the Army and Navy and with Washington officials were submitted to the Board
for inspection. The Directors were informed that a letter from the Eighth
Corps Area had been received concerning the possibility of locating an enemy
alien camp on the Lake Carl Blackwell area.

Report was submitted on the Chamber of Commerce activity in the send-
off programs for the selectees entering the armed forces.
A list of committee chairmen and vice-chairmen appointed by President
Donart was read. A motion for the approval of the list as submitted was
made by Hal McNutt; seconded by Mrs. Strode; carried unanimously.
The Agricultural Committee requested that the budgetary item of $250
to be used as premiums for the Junior Lifestock Show to be held March 17 th,
be released. Motion was made by Ray Pence that this money be made available
for this purpose; motion seconded by A. O. Martin; carried.
