As regards the return of Jeanette and innie Biggs, re-
garding which xou recently wrote me, I be to stste that the sum
od 280.00 vhcih wac sent vou from the aacount of Nelson Riggs was

presentdinencisl condition of the parents of these trro girls
would not justify me in recomonding that this money be used for
carfare. However. I have instructed the k;r.cr to ask the parent
if it is possible to raise an additional sum which would make it
pufibnat to take care of their expenses both ways. I suggest
th at the girls remain at Genoa. I am sorry that it is only a
matter of finance which necessitates their losing aportion of the
vacation but I am not responsible for some of the reckless expen-
ditures which the parents have made in the oast and I suppose the
children will have to suffer for it to a certain extent. You
may expect to hear from this office immediately if we have anyth!
thing favorable for the girls.
