No White Christmas
But Cold Weather
Is In State Forecast
By United Press International
There is little chance for a
white Christmas in Oklahoma,
but the National Weather Ser-
vice says there is no doubt the
holiday will be a cold one.
A fast moving cold front swept
packing gusty north winds into
the state this morning, sending
temperatures plummenting and
bringing cloudy skies to most
sections.
Forecasters say there is a
slight chance for snow in the
Panhandle later today, but the
rest of the state will remain dry
and cold. Temperatures were
expected to drop into the 20s this
afternoon after morning lows
mostly in the upper 30s.
Skies will be clearing tonight,
