Biotech Corp., received a $5 mil

tion as attorney general has been
held up by questions about his
tangled finances, shows he has
paid off two $80,000 loans and a
controversial, interest free
$15,000 loan to his wife.

who is under investigation for
failure to disclose loans and giv
ing government jobs to friends,
submitted his financial state
ment to the White House coun
sei’s office Monday after
receiving two extensions from

The Washita Irrigation Dis
trict No. 1 announces that it star
ted releasing water Monday
afternoon from Ft. Cobb Reser
voir at the rate of 30 acre feet per
day and will continue for ap
proximately 30 days The irri
gation district has bought and
paid for 1000 acre feet.
Although the river is still run
ning and has enough water, the
decision was made to release the
water to keep the river flowing
and allow enough water for irri
gation rather than wait until the
river reached the level where ir
rigation was not possible.

Meese, 52, said he inad
vertently failed to list the inter
estfree loan on his financial
disclosure statement, and am
ended the form to include the
loan, which was used to purchase
stock in Biotech Capital Corp for
his two children
Thomas also bought stock in
loan was $80,000.
It was learned the second
mortgage to pay off the loan was
provided by the same bank.

vulge the size, source or terms of
the second mortgage.

showed that promissory notes of
$50,000 to $100,000 at 18 percent
interest to John McKean who
later landed a job on the 1 ostal

the exact amount of that loan
also was $80,000.
