When buying anything always remem-

The big graft is in full swing all over
the country now; legislatures are protect-
ing (?) the people.
If the Hamilton s'atebood bill ever
goes through, even its initiators will not
know it when it come* out.
Report sayf. that fatalism pervaded the
ranks of the Russian army. We have 110
doubt uf it. A slave docs not make a
good soldier.
"What cares ni_v conscience whether I
am in a minority or a majority, if I am
light? Has any great and glorious cause
ever been started upon earth that did not
find it-elf, at the outset, in u minority ?—

Every disclosure made by the capnai

mules get a glimpse of the rotieness u

The Socialists have nothing in com-
mon with the capatalist class or any of
its acts, and the disclosures of its fittt-
ness does not particularly interest us.
aside from the contention it stirs up
among themselves.
The cotton growers of the South ate
burning their cotton because of the low
price it is bringing on the market. Mil
lions of people are in need of clothing
Great system, eh; something wrong? Oh
no; this is the best government on earth
but is it good enough?
Adams has been seated in Colorado
and the capitalist Peabody will be re-
lieved. Ten to one, Adams will fasten
the chains around the working people
iar more than Peabody did. He is a
wolf in sheep's clothing. Peabody didn't
wear a disguise, but defended the inter
ests of his class in the open.
Here is a problem in political econ-
omy:
A man has ten apples worth two cents
apiece. Ey destroying five of them his
other five will be worth four cents apiece
If he destroys nine of them bis one apple
left will be worth twenty cents How
much money can he make by destrovinK
half or nine-tenths of them ?
Respectfully aubmitted to the cotton
growers.
P. S.—That nine men must go without
their apples, hat the tenth may enjoy a
costly luxury is (!nt included in the prob-
lent Of 1! u-e if this view is taken it
will Justify the destruction because it is
the business of the millions to work slave
and starve thai tl,e one may luxuriate
