Cold Winter Blasts Have
No terrors for a family using the "Cole's Hot
Blast" heater. This is the stove that furnishes
intense heat or a moderate heat at. the will of the
owner and on One Half the Kuel used by the or-
dinary stove, then it will hold tire over night. If
you are going to buy a stove buy a "Coles Hot
Blast." It will pay you to investigate. Every-
thing in sporting goods, mill supplies, and "IP
IT'S HARDWARE, WE HAVE IT." . . . .

The State Agency Sys-
tem endorsed.
We, ministers, professional,
business men and citizens of
Mangum, Greer county, Okla-
homa, do hereby give our EN-
DORSEMENT TO "THE AGEN-
CY SYSTEM OF THE P.IL
LUPS LAW."
We expect to vote for the
''agency" on November D, and
do most respectfully request
every voter in the county, re-
gardless of party affiliations, to
ao vote, and to use every honor-
able and legitimate endeavor
possible to influence votes for
the same throughout the State.
We do so for the following
reasons:
; 1. We are prohibitionists au<i
desire to see the prohibition laws
of the State enforced.
2. The "State Agency Sys-
tem" furnishes a lawful way by
which alcohol and liquors can be
secured for medical and scien-
tific purposes.
3. The entire "whisky crowd"
is fighting thfi agency system,
viz: The Sons of Washington,
(a whisky organization, pure and
simple), the brewers, the distil
lers, the saloon keepers, the
whisky politicians, the whisky
lawyers, the bootleggers, the
red-nosed bums, the prostitutes,
the professional gamblers, the
outlaws, the dissolute negroes,
the lax in morals of all classes
and colors.
4. On the other hand the
strongest prohibitionists and
men and women of the very
highest characters are for it,
viz: The leading ministers and
Christian workers of all the
churches; the Anti-Saloon Lea-
gue of America; the W. C. T. U.
of Oklahoma; the candidate for
the presidency on the prohibi-
tion party ticket, etc.

Miss Maye Jones, oldest
daughter of G. M. Jones, who
lived near town, and who was en-
gaged to teach school at Ard-

last week. She had been sick a
long time, but was convalescent,
when she suffered a relapse and
death came as a speedy result.
ifiiss* Myrtle Jones left last
week to attend her bedside and
arrived only to witness thu sad
occasion of her beloved sister's
death.
The burial took place at Du-

posed. Our sympathies go out
to the bereaved ones in this sad
hour of desolation

SAFETY FIRST
Liberality Next
Both are essential to successful
banking;. We tried to give our
customers the benefit of the Depos-
itors Guaranty Fund of State of
Oklahoma, but under the Attorney
General's ruling we were compelled
to withdraw from our agreement
with the State Board. The fact
that we were under the Guaranty
Law should be sufficient proof to
you that we are absolutely safe or
we could not have undergone the
rigid examination that it required
to come under that law.
We always try to be liberal to
our customers and will always ex-
tend to them any accommodation
that is within our power upon the
most liberal terms to be had.
